Morning class did yesterday's workout. Christy used the black band for pullups, sit-ups on the floor and a combination of superman's and leg lift's off the box. She used 38# for her thrusters. She finished in 31:14. Jerimiah did blue band pull-ups floor sit-ups and GHD back xtend. He used 65 for his thruster. He finished in 36:21. It was great to see both of them grunt it out to the very end. Great job guys!!

i did a crossfit endurance wod. (http://www.crossfitendurance.com/)
10 rnds of 125 meter sprints on the c2 rower
2 mins rest between each rnd

27.7/27.4/26.4/27.8/26.8/27.3/27.4/26.4/
27.9/26.6

i tried pulling different on each interval:
low and slow, high and slow, the last one was screw it I just want to finish. i don't know which was better; bringing the bar to my neck or chest? but i felt a stronger pull when I foucesd more on driving with the legs hard and finished with a "snap" in the hips.

Jerimiah

Despite some people opinion and the fact that my legs are still twitching, I would like to see this one again.

another awesome performance from the evening crew

Ben

Still don't have the shed cleaned out for a home gym or have much equipment yet. But, I figured I needed to keep doing workouts after starting back up on Saturday after a long break.

I did 3 rounds
21-15-9

65# Thrusters
Burpees

time 11:35

I felt as if I could have done a lot better, I wasn't concentrating very well (wife and son watching from inside and 7 yr. old neighbor watching from her back yard, I got a little self conscious). But, on the up side I did feel good about it because it was my first time to ever do thrusters or burpees.

Because of my situation, I had to do the workout in the grass in the back yard and I used 2 old tires to squat on (16 in.).

Hard workout, but it felt good to do my first workout at home.

Jerimiah

Way to go Ben. Crossfit is good wherever it is done. Thruster and Burpees are a killer combo too.
