great work from everyone, jason and robin have with us for almost 2 months and are seeing vast improvements already, and not just themselves but from everyone they meet.

How many compliments have you recieved since working out at crossfit tulsa?

Will

Other than my wife; not many. That because I still eat like crap. I enjoy too many things like pizza, pop-tarts, and Mexican tacos (Tanner knows what I'm talking about). I do stay away from donuts out of sheer principle. I'm working on it.

Overslept for church today, so I did "Cindy" at the house:

11 rounds + 5 pull ups rx'd

Testimony:
The first CrossFit workout I did was "Cindy" back in Febuary or March at Triton. I was barely able to complete 6 rounds on the black band. I could read the look on Brandon's face, "this kid needs a lot of work." I took a couple of months off, but have been going consistently for the last 3 months. As you can see from today's "Cindy," I have improved over 90%. Thanks for reading.

Tanner

Good work Will!! I too have only good things to say about "The Fit of Cross". I got many compliments over the holiday weekend at the lake. I attribute it to crossfit, the trainers, everyone I work out with, and being in the "zone". I havent looked this good or felt this good since high school. And WIll you do look better than just a few months ago, I can tell. Did we just have a moment there?

Gina

I have received alot of compliments...Since Sean talked me into coming to Triton in Feb., I have lost about 15 lbs., but have lost alot inches. I started because I had a baby in July and started out heavy with left over first baby weight before getting pregnant the second time. I haven't done the best on the eating out and drinking with friends, but plan on it after next weekend. Wanna lose some more weight before my birthday in Sept. I just plan on stepping it up.

I am stronger and have more endurance and pain tolerance. My hands look like a man's. I still don't think I will ever do box jumps, though. I have seen too many injuries.

Love the group and will be sad when I go to day shift at shiftchange. I could work out with you guys during the day if there was a shower, but I don't think it would look too professional to come back to work from lunch break looking and smelling the way we all do after a workout.

Thanks to all the trainers and my friends for cheering me on and not letting me give up.

Jerimiah

I had 2 people at church today mention how I was losing weight, and it seems to be somebody different every week.

I will be building the 16" and 20" boxes next weekend. I have the dimensions for the 20" box from the journal article, but does anybody have the exact dimensions for the 16"?

You guys are great. I am speaking for myself but I believe that the other trainers feel the same. We trully enjoy seeing you guys progress and feel better about yourself. I have seen all of you get stronger, faster, and drop unwanted weight. I love the fact that 6 months ago, some of you could not do more than just a couple of pullups. Now I see the same people knocking out full sets of them.

I know that really sounds cheesey, but it is the truth.

If you guys show up and give a 100%, we will give you the same in return.

Think of this...if you were given one car to last your entire life, you would take really good care of it because you know you wont get another one. That is how you should think of your body.

Brandon

You guys and gals have all made noticeable improvements since you have begun. Especially you Police Officers, our schedules(shift work, court time, pager call-outs, several hours of unexpected overtime, etc) don't allow for a consistent 4-6 hours of sleep let alone the recommended 8-9 hours. Eating right is a definate challenge at work especially late night shifts when only fast food joints are open. Add in family time and other non-work related responsibilities, and squeezing in 3-5 WODS a week is sometimes a chore. I applaude each of you for your effort, and hard work(both on your real jobs and at the gym)It really is a honor for us trainers to help push you through the WODS. I sometimes look at it like this...when you guys push hard through the workouts and refuse to give up or quit...I know that out their, on the street, no matter who or what you face, you will each have the mental toughness to be able to push through, not quit, recognize the nausea swelling up in your gut, endure the pain and win the fight. I like the slogan by Col. Bryan McCoy USMC and founder of 'CrossFit Ripper' "We do today What no one Will do; So tomorrow We may do What no one can do"

And yes Tanner, we did just have a moment!

Beth

I have received compliments from my girl friends at work about how toned my arms are getting. I am still working on some unwanted weight, but, I see that coming off slowly but surely. I have never had a better workout than before I started coming to CrossFit. I like the fact that we all push each other to do better and that makes me never want to give up. I feel like I've made some significant progress and have even made my way up onto the big white board several times. I really appreciate all the encouragement from the trainers - it makes the workouts seem less horrible. Although, I will always hate wall-balls no matter how much encouragement I get!!!

Brice

I'm not one for speeches. Good job by everybody over the last few months.

As rx'd 18:01.
