155 pound Squat Clean and Jerk, 30 reps
The barbell goes from ground to overhead, passing through a front squat in which the crease of the hip passes below the height of the kneecap. The finish position is with the arms, hips and knees fully extended, arms overhead, with at least a portion of the ear visible in front of the arm. Dropping the barbell is acceptable.
The 'catch' position of the (squat) Clean. Hips below knees and high elbows.

Just 3 of us tried the WOD.
Gale-12:14 95#
Randy-9:33 as rx'd
Brandon-8:16 as rx'd
If you look at the results for the CrossFit Games on the main site, the times are amazing. For example in this WOD, the top 30 or so competitors completed the workout in under 4 minutes, and many of them in under 3 minutes. Randy and I were moving at a decent pace and all deadlifts were unbroken, but we still were not even close to their times.

sorry for the late post. i decieded to do the crossfit games wod.
750 meter uphill run
time 3:18
rested about 10-14 minutes and.....
21-15-9 reps
thruster
pull ups
scaled the weight to 75#
time 5;20
the chest to bar screwed up my timing and had to re-learn the kipping pull-up ( been doing the butterfly for a while)
rested for 16 mins and..........
5 rnds for time
5 x deadlift at 210 # (scaled)
10 burpees ( overhead clap)
time 5;03
total time was 13:41
going to try something different under the criticism of sean. i'll be scaling the weight to fit my body weight, once I can do the wod in unbroken sets, then I'll move up or if my weight changes.
lets see if this experiment can garner faster results, if not back to the drawing board:)
