It's a bummer getting beat by your student, but I was also proud of him he did a great job.

3Rounds
Front Squat x10
Sit-up x15

David 7:50
Jae 5:34
Adam (95#, KTE) 5:26
Mandy (42#) 4:26
Angela (15#) 3:26 (Didn't use enough weight on FS and wanted more Row 500M 2:20)

Everyone did a great Job. I probably should have made Mandy and Adam go 5 Rounds, but I am overly cautious with new people. I won't be so nice on Wed.

great job with the afternooners, sean will post times later:)

Oh My God... I'm so glad I didn't go back for a 2nd WOD today....

Speaking of Sean.. did anyone catch him and Pat in the background of this video?

http://media.crossfit.com/cf-video/CrossFit_JohnWelbournInterview.wmv

First I would like to say, if you notice, Pat and I are drinking beer. Nothing better than a beer following a workout. The beer we were drinking is called Fat Tire by New Belgium Beer Company. One of the guys that was there getting certified works for them in Colorado and had a keg brought there for all of us.

Not keep going on about this, but the guy is a former Army Captain that was injured in Fallujah. His vehicle was hit with an RPG (he lost his right eye from that) and he was knocked out of the vehicle. While he was down on the ground he was shot through his leg with an AK-47 (one hell of a gnarly leg wound). The guy had to leave the Army but he became so determined not to quit life. He was one hell of a nice guy and a Crossfit stud.

So the point of all of this is, when you think about giving up on yourself or giving up on fitness, you can pull through like he did.

Afternoon class did Meltdown as well
