OHS 1-1-1-1-1-1-1

Since I am not very proficent in my snatch I decided to sub OHS

Couldn't make it to the gym. I took the girls to the park water splash pad and brought 2 10lb dumbells. Did a Greg Admunson style warm up and 30 squats. Then made up a sequence of
Deadlift
Power Clean
Push Presh
Overhead squat.
Repeat.
I started with both dumbell but dropped down to the one 10lb because I couldn't hold my form on the OHS.
Didn't time myself and was to distracted watching the girls to count my reps. Just went until my legs felt fatigued. Cool down was holding baby and playing in the water with the older two.
Nothing spetacular. But at least I didn't cave to the excuse of not getting to the gym.

Before today's workout, I started practicing the Muscle Up. Finally, I was actually able to do one (huge mental milestone for me). Just to prove that it wasn't a fluke, I went ahead and did two more. I'm just glad that I had numerous witnesses...because I wouldn't have believed it either.

On today's workout, (run 400m, 10 45# hang snatches, 10 45# OHS) I wimped out and was the only one who just did 3 rounds (compared to 5 for everyone else). After yesterdays asthma problems, I didn't want to overdo it...plus, I knew me and christy would have to stain our deck in this heat. I think it was a good move...because I damned near had heat exhaustion on our deck anyway!

Workout- 11:35...I think. Felt real good and probably should have done the other two rounds.

push ups

the pace was trainer control no times posted
tanner, alex, new kid (forgot the name)

7 pm did the hang power snatch and oh squat w/ run

32# snatch for both

I apologize Michelle that I wasn't able to help train today. about 10 mins after you steped out, the gym was cleared. agian , sorry that you were not able to train.
