Monday 080519

For time:
75 Push-ups
95 pound Sumo-deadlift high-pull, 50 reps
50 Ring Dips
45 pound Weighted Pull-ups, 30 reps
25 Handstand Push-ups

Cody using the 20# dynamax ball completed more rounds then his dad, and almost as many as Craig.

Oh, I thought that was Ryan Curry before he cut off his hair.

Biggest class yet today!! I think we had a total of 22. Glad to see you guys passing the word around about how much fun yet benefial Crossfit is.

Since we had so many people we did the workout of the day in teams. It was done in a Fight Gone Bad format as far as the rotations. Modifications were as needed.

Team #1-Tanner, Bo, Danny, Kurt 30:43
Team #2-Mark, Robert, Beth, Christy-29:51
Team #3-Eddie, Charlie, Andy, Will-31:21
Team #4-Wes, Randy, Shane, Sarah-28:51

Craig-18 minutes and change as rx'd w/50lb kettbell. (sorry about not having the exact time Craig, I can read it off of my phone photo)

sorry about this correction Craig's time 16:59 50# kb, 95# sdlhp, ring dips,hspu on paralletes. I believe my time would have been faster if the damn weight belt stopped from breaking.

Trainer's thoughts: don't get caught up on beating the clock or the person next to you. The competition is within. As a competitor in wrestling and ju-jitsu it came be real easy to doubht your performance, which ends up being correct- you failed.
Mental toughness is a huge part of my training. Every time I step up to a bar, I honestly believe that I can be succesful. If for some reason I fall behind from the athlete next to me I know I can catch them in something else.
Friendly competition brings the best out of all of us; negative distractions hinder us.
'nuff said.
Excellent work from everyone I met today. I feel really proud in helping reach whatever your goals you have set for yourself, family, friends,or career!Rock it!!
