I saw this WOD on the Navy Seals CrossFit site(check out the link-great site)and had to try it.
Five rounds for time and total pull ups:
10 Thruster (95 lbs)
20 Push ups
30 Sit ups
Max pull ups (one set-strict form)
Run 1 mile
I knew I would be slow and it was hot so I took ample water breaks between exercises.
Pull-ups 16/16/15/15/14
mile times 8.29/8.10/10.13/10.46/9.14
Total time 1:33.43
Longest WOD I have done to date. My left thigh started cramping in my 3rd mile and time slowed way down...Stephanie was kind enough to bring me some Gatorade at the beginning of round 5 which(possibly placebo effect) is why my last mile was faster. Great workout.
How does this sound for a new t-shirt: "Your body will ache, your lungs will burn, but quitting is NEVER an option." Let me know what you think or other t-shirt ideas. By the way I still have some orginal CrossFit Tulsa t-shirts if anybody wants one.
