Any suggestions on a replacement exercise for the clean? my knees cannot take that pounding..I did 3 practice cleans without any weight and I thought my knees were going to explode

mainly during the catch but it extends into the stand.

I think I am going to do thrusters in the place of the cleans... those have not hurt in the past

54:51 almost as rx'd. I had to drop my dead lift to 275 after the second set. My lower back is on fire. Bench was at 205 and cleans were at 155.

deadlifts 75
bench 115
thrusters (3 sets @75) then replaced to front squats w/75. Finished with 3 sets of squat jumps
(my knees are lit up) and only 2nd workout back.
